You Bet You Can
This action packed adventure captures You Tube mania and positions it in a flexible teambuilding context. You Tube documents some amazing evidence of what can be achieved when individuals work together as one.
In You Bet You Can teams browse through a menu challenges categorised on our own unique e-platform. They then view specific 'action' clips to establish a 'viability factor'. The crux of the game focuses on teams betting on their own performance.
Achieve the success criteria within the given time frame and they double their bet. Fail and they lose not only the time and effort invested but also their original investment!
Low & High Ropes
Everyone takes away a positive experience due to the process that we use and the skill of our facilitators. The ropes course challenges individuals to move out of their comfort zone whilst at the same time providing a powerful vehicle for building trust and support within the team.
The low elements are used to build confidence and provide the opportunity, at a perceived safe height, for delegates to become familiar with and practice the techniques required to successfully negotiate the high elements. In undertaking the high elements (12 m above ground) we follow the philosophy of "Challenge by Choice" and no one is forced to go beyond a height of their own choosing.
Individuals set their own goals. However, such is the power of the process that very, very few individuals fail to set challenging targets that take them beyond their comfort zones. Even those with a genuine and very real fear of heights find themselves climbing higher than they would have imagined possible.
There is no sense of failure for those who do not climb. There are real and meaningful support roles within the team. In this respect the ropes course provides many parallels and metaphors to the way in which individuals and teams respond to challenges in the work place.
All protective and safety equipment is provided for the activities. Previous experience is not required, the activities are suitable for both male and female participants, and do not require above average levels of fitness or physical strength.
Breakthrough
Breakthrough presents teams with a series of quick 'problem solving' challenges, each carefully designed to explore communication and highlight aspects of team working that all too often go unnoticed!
After understanding the desired outcomes of each challenge, participants quickly evaluate the resources at hand, set realistic goals and reach a consensus on how these will be achieved. The allocated time slots are 'just enough' to complete each challenge, so teams are 'pushed' but remain motivated by their successes.
Teams are encouraged to review their performance and take learning's forward to the next challenge. In a comparatively short time individuals appreciate how their interpersonal styles may affect their team's success.
ACE
ACE teambuilding fuses together elements of Myth Busters, Scrap Heap Challenge and Top Gear to create a truly unique concept: your very own personalised, gravity-defying vehicle made from surprisingly simple recycled materials!
Once past their initial disbelief, teams prioritize their actions and work quickly to take their design from blueprint to test flight. Creativity is bought into play as each 'floating' craft is customised for the chosen themed finale.
The common feeling at the end of the event is "WOW, WE NEVER BELIEVED WE WOULD ACHIEVE THAT!" What a great metaphor for your staff to take back to your workplace!
